What is Gutenberg
Gutenberg, the new WordPress editor, is the best thing that happened to WordPress since its proliferation as a CMS (content management system). While platforms such as Medium, Ghost, already provide an easy, intuitive, friendly, absolutely great experience for writers, WordPress’ current visual editor requires us to use shortcodes and HTML to make things pretty.
WordPress 5.0 will change this for good. With the new Gutenberg editor soon to be merged in core (currently Gutenberg is available as a plugin) everything changes in the way we “WordPress”. The entire editing experience has been rebuilt for media rich pages and posts.
